Is the Statement “Save the Planet” True or Misleading?
“ Save the planet”, “Save the Earth”, “Our planet needs you”
As I guess everyone, I am very concerned about our planet and the war we have been holding against Her for so many years. Forms of life have always fascinated me and gave me hope and strength inside when I needed it. The trees along with philosophy were with me when I was grieving alone in the mountain. Where I found myself and the courage to face myself and fears of life.
Humankind for some reason is self-destructive. It is not difficult to see. The way we treat our own selves, our own bodies, and the environment we live in. There is something strange to us. Is it perverseness? Is it the brutality of nature translated into the complicated human brain? I have also thought even that something changed when this sacred ape first tasted raw meat on the fire.
We have been watching the fires around the whole world all this summer long. Just imagine what an irony it is that the humans have reached this enormous level of technology, just to watch the destruction of the planet. No one will miss the show. What a vanity. What an inefficiency. Mentioned “the destruction of the planet”. Now let’s talk about it seriously.
We hear everywhere and read “ Save the planet”, “Save the Earth”, “Our planet needs you”. Yes of course. But have we ever thought how small we truly are? Do we think that we are so “strong” to destroy a whole planet? No. It is not the planet that is dying. It is our civilization. We are not “enough” to blow a whole planet of the solar system.
Have you ever had lice? Has anyone died from lice? We used to just wash our heads and go back to school. We are that important.
Lice on a kid’s head.
We are taking our civilization to the end, and the forms of life that the Earth supports in this particular period of time. Even if the whole planet is burned, she will recover. Sooner than we think. At least soon, for her. The Earth is able to support life and this will continue. Just make a picture of the whole planet burnt. How soon will the first trees will be born again? Do you think the plankton that will be formed again, will feel depressed without us and will not photosynthesize?
It is the end of our civilization. That is all. New life will be formed from molecules and new history will be made. We will perish like the Minoans, the Mayas. Like so many known and unknown civilizations did. Someone may find something about us and will understand what we did to the other species.
That’s all.
I think that if we spread this mentality, people will care. Save our civilization. Because people do not care about anything else than their ass. Even if this “anything else” is the planet that supports their life.
Save our civilization perhaps sounds more serious. (I hate it, but whatever works) Just stand against oil companies. Wherever you are. Just care about politics.
And it is not about straws and stuff. Of course, it is everything and little changes make an enormous change! But we need to be organized and supportive with each other like ants and work against corruption. We need to act locally and globally at the same time. We are part of a global brain.
There is water here. This magnificent planet is suitably connected with the sun and the moon to give birth again and again. Even if we burn, in some years from now the first molecules will be forming life once again. It is not the first time. It will not be the last time. The Earth will be destroyed by the enormous universe. Not by her greedy lice.
What makes me feel sad is that it took us so long to get in communication with each other, tribes of humans from all around the globe, just to perish.
It is a real pity for human history, which in the overview, is a sad history.
There is a huge possibility we will face our end. We need to decide whether we will watch it on the screen or the outdoors.
Feel.

We are all in this together.
